|A Soul Full of Silence|
I open my eyes head spinning,
Where am I what is going on.
A familiar voice cries out but it couldn't possibly be.

Her voice floated on the wind.
Weightless as a feather even still
hearing it I could feel the weight of the world in my heart.
Pounding heavier and heavier I frantically looked around.

Eyes jumping back and forth in the landscape.
Bam, it hit me I was at that park..
Her lovely melody chimed into my heart consuming me yet again.
This time I would not be overcome, this time would be different.

She looked at me from afar waving incomprehensively smoothly
It seemed as if she had no flaw, perfection incarnate.
I froze, mind numbed.
Fixated, my strength was leaving my body and all I could see was her.

My gaze broke.
A chill crept up my back
A black blur approaching from the distance.
I broke into a stride swearing under my breath.

Not again damn it, not again.
I ran every ounce of strength pouring into my legs.
Her smile broke.
Screeching tires, I dove.

Smoke filled the air, taking my lungs with it.
I stood there lifeless, pale.
Trudging brainlessly to a destination of which was unknown to me
A mass, dark, red, motionless. The smoke cleared and the weight of the world rose again in my heart. Different this time.

No longer the warmth of before.
Instead a cold chilling sensation, one that was all to familiar.
Dropping to my knees I could see the Eyes of Death.
They consumed me. Falling deeper into the depths of the abyss.
Hazel, then grey, then nothing.
The life faded from her eyes as mine filled with hot tears.

GASP
I sat up. Breathing heavily.
Clutching my covers.
Not again…
The guilt was too much to bear.

Even in my dreams I could not save her.
What if…
What if I was not so entranced by hear.
Maybe….
What would have been.
I will never know.
No one will.
